The Goose Green Centre

The Goose Green Centre was opened in 1996, thanks to a large fundraising effort by the congregation of St John’s, Goose Green and the local community in East Dulwich. The Centre serves the local community in SE22 and SE15 by providing a safe and comfortable environment for a number of local groups. The groups which run regularly at the centre include the following :

Groups for young children
•    Monkey Music
•    Mother & Toddlers’ Group
•    Music for Little People
•    Sing + Sign

Groups for children and young people
•    Woodcraft Folk

Children’s tuition groups
•    Cube Learning Centres
•    Kumon Maths & English Classes
•    Youth Learning Network

Groups for Adults
•    Chi Kung Class
•    Pilates Classes
•    Voiceworks Singing Workshop
•    Yoga Classes
•    AA meeting

Groups for Senior Citizens
•    Thursday Lunch Club for the over 60s

The centre is also ideal for one-off bookings for celebrations such as children’s birthday parties and includes a fully equipped kitchen.

Given its close proximity to residential properties, the Goose Green Centre does not hold a licence for amplified music, though a piano is available and, regrettably, we cannot accept bookings for events which finish after 9.30pm.

The Goose Green Centre for Church and Community is managed by the Parochial Church Council of St John’s Church. We welcome enquiries from all local groups, organisations and charities who share our commitment to equality and inclusion regardless of creed, gender, disability, racial background or sexuality.

All enquiries regarding bookings should be made to Gareth, the Centre Manager, on 020 8299 6483 or by email to goosegreencentre@tiscali.co.uk
